Seaweed medium pressing

Real pressed sea lettuce seaweed on soft white mount board. Perfect as a gift to celebrate a new home, birthday, wedding, or as a special thank you.

This piece has been created in West Sussex with sustainably foraged seaweed using traditional pressing techniques. The seaweed has been pressed slowly over a few weeks, capturing every detail and preserving the natural colours. Every piece is handmade and unique.

Pressings are mounted with soft white, bevelled-edge mount board, and are available unframed or framed with UV glass to retain the pressing's colour for longer. Displaying the artwork out of direct sunlight will help to preserve the colours, however they will change and evolve over time with age.

I aim to create these pressings as sustainably as possible, so unframed pieces will arrive in a compostable clear sleeve in recyclable cardboard packaging. Framed pieces will be deliverd in reused bubble wrap and cardboard packaging.
